Effective from 17th March 2022, the OHS Act includes three changes to incident notification requirements pertaining to:
- Incident Notification threshold for incidents of the type listed under Section 37(2) of the OHS Act 2004.
- Addition of certain illnesses to be included for the purposes of incident notification provisions
- Incidents relating to the collapse, overturning, failure or malfunction of, or damage to, plant will become notifiable that plant is prescribed under regulations
