The Accident Compensation Conciliation Service is in the final stages of delivering a range of significant changes in line with the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Amendment (Arbitration) Act 2021.
As at Thursday 14th July 2022, the Minister for Workplace Safety announced that the new arbitration service will commence from 1 September 2022 and will be available to injured workers who sustain an injury/illness on or after this date.
In addition, from 1 September 2022 the ACCS will be known as the Workplace Injury Commission.
